Job summary

Auto Driveaway, a leading US driveaway company, seeks an energetic Driver Recruiter to build and onboard a diverse professional driver network across asset types, while assisting with FMCSA compliance. The role partners with safety and operations to forecast demand, drive engagement, and maintain high safety and service standards.

You will screen candidates, conduct interviews, and develop recruiting analytics while leveraging traditional and non-traditional sourcing methods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience with full lifecycle for drivers and knowledge of federal/state laws
• Experience with CDL drivers is strongly desired
• Background in transportation, logistics or related fields
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and safety focus
• Ability to conduct cold calls and internet sourcing
• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Project planning and management skills
• Data analysis and reporting experience
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with urgency
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Responsibilities

• Recruit professional drivers for all asset types, including DOT and CDL resources
• Screen applications and interview to onboard driver candidates
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet forecasted driver needs and projects
• Develop driver utilization metrics and engagement initiatives
• Support safety/compliance teams in onboarding and training
• Explore new recruiting opportunities (cold-calling, job fairs, sourcing)
• Provide reporting and analytics on recruiting activities
• Grow Auto Driveaway’s driver network nationwide
• Coordinate with on-boarding and pre-employment processes
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA and DOT requirements
