Job summary

zTrip NE is seeking an experienced Driver Operations Manager to lead a team of professional drivers, drive safety, performance, and service excellence. You will shape daily operations, coach drivers, monitor performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize routes and reliability.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a proven track record in transportation operations, driver engagement, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, driver management, or fleet operations.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation operations and DOT regulations.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and support a team of professional drivers.
• Build relationships through ongoing communication and support.
• Serve as primary contact for driver questions and performance discussions.
• Foster professionalism, safety, and customer service.
• Conduct regular driver meetings and performance evaluations.
• Support scheduling, route optimization, and service recovery.
