Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations and staff on assigned shifts. You will train and supervise team members, manage staffing, and ensure a high standard of guest service while maintaining policies and safety standards.

The role requires overseeing multiple stations, handling guest and employee concerns, and ensuring daily records and sanitation are maintained, with available openings for 30+ hours per week including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a restaurant or retail team.
• Ability to coach and supervise employees during a shift.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws applicable to restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead and manage drive-in operations during shift to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues/concerns during shift.
• Handle employee issues/concerns.
• Monitor cost controls and inventory during shift.
• Maintain drive-in records and ensure policy compliance.
• Perform all station duties as necessary during shift.
• Regular cleaning and sanitation duties.
