Sonic Drive-In in Alabama seeks an Assistant Manager to help lead daily drive-in operations and staff during shifts.

You will train and supervise team members, ensure guest satisfaction, manage scheduling, and perform opening/closing duties while upholding health, safety, and company standards.

This role requires knowledge of labor laws, strong communication, and the ability to supervise a fast-paced restaurant environment, with regular attendance and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant or retail teams.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws (wage-hour, EEO).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer, math, and reading skills.
• Leadership, decision-making and conflict-resolution abilities.

Responsabilités

• Train, supervise, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shift.
• Lead drive-in operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Manage staffing levels during shift.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Handle guest issues and employee concerns.
• Monitor costs and inventory to support cost-control and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Perform all station duties as needed and maintain sanitation.
