Sonic Drive-In in Oxford, MS is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations. You will train and coach crew, monitor service quality, and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient guest experience.

You’ll lead shifts, supervise staffing, inventory, and cost controls, and handle administrative duties while upholding Sonic standards and a strong customer‑first mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy; multi-task and solve problems.
• Willingness to adhere to Sonic appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Aufgaben

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to ensure all aspects of food service meet standards.
• Adheres to and monitors employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control; completes weekly inventory.
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files, records and documentation.
• Reinforces customer service focus and ensures guests are served promptly.
• Responds to guest requests and assists in resolving complaints.
