Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Winslow, AZ is seeking a General Manager to lead drive-in operations, train staff, and ensure food is served safely and efficiently while delivering an excellent guest experience.

You will oversee scheduling, inventory, payroll, and reports, develop marketing plans, and uphold company standards for service, cleanliness, and compliance with labor laws. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring weekend/nights and strong communication to coach a diverse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day workweek with 4 closing shifts (or 4 day workweek guaranteed) including irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations.
• Leadership and supervisory practices and skills; effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic accounting and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach and supervise Crew/Team members and Carhops.
• Direct drive-in staff to meet food service standards.
• Prepare employee work schedules; adjust staffing levels as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels; place orders within cost controls.
• Maintain payroll and employment records.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan.
