Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, coach crew and management, and ensure safe, clean, high-quality service. You will oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial discipline to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires a minimum two years of restaurant management, strong leadership, and knowledge of labor laws. You’ll help implement marketing plans and drive store performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of two years restaurant management experience (QSR preferred), experience running shifts without supervision.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws, health and sanitation regulations; strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches crew, carhops and management staff to meet service standards.
• Prepares staff schedules and monitors staffing levels.
• Maintains inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Ensures customer service is consistently delivered with a positive guest experience.
• Interviews and hires staff; develops action plans to address sales trends and financial performance.
• Develops and implements marketing plans to grow business.
