Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, train crew, and ensure quick, safe, high‑quality service. You will open/close shifts, schedule staff, monitor inventory, and uphold federal and state labor laws while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive sales through excellent operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; business/restaurant management studies preferred.
• Minimum of two years restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day week with varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of labor laws and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and verbal/written communication skills.
• Basic accounting and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and coach crew and supervisors to meet service standards.
• Direct daily drive-in operations to ensure food safety and quality.
• Prepare employee schedules and adjust staffing as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders within budget.
• Complete payroll records and employment documentation.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan to drive sales.
• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints to ensure a great experience.
