Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in New Mexico seeks a General Manager to lead restaurant operations, train and coach crew, and drive a high level of guest satisfaction. You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and safety compliance while implementing a marketing plan to boost sales and profitability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business, restaurant management or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work minimum 5 days per week with 4 closing shifts (or 4 days with guaranteed schedule) including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices; knowledge of labor laws and health/sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, supervisory skills and effective verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet operational standards for food service.
• Prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Maintains inventory and places orders within cost control procedures.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan and resolves guest concerns.
• Completes payroll records and restaurant reports.
