Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Espanola, NM, is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, train and support crew, and ensure food is served safely and efficiently while delivering a great guest experience.

You will open/close shifts, build schedules, manage inventory, monitor finances, and develop marketing plans to drive sales. Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; business/restaurant management studies preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience.
• Ability to work five days with nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of labor laws and health/sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs drive-in operations to meet standards.
• Prepares staff schedules and staffing levels.
• Maintains inventory and orders supplies within budget.
• Resolves guest requests and escalates complaints.
• Interacts with customers to ensure superior service.
• Develops and implements marketing plans.
