SONIC Drive-In in Aurora, IL seeks an experienced General Manager to lead our crew and drive restaurant performance. You will train staff, schedule shifts, and ensure food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You’ll oversee staffing, guest service, inventory, budgeting, and marketing plans, reporting to the franchise owner. The role requires a minimum of two years in restaurant management, willingness to work a demanding schedule, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Must work a minimum 5 days per week with 4 closing shifts (or 4 days a week with irregular hours).
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Knowledge of federal/state labor laws and local health/sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards.
• Prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing as needed.
• Monitors inventory levels and places orders within cost control procedures.
• Completes payroll records and operational reports; develops action plans for sales trends.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan.
