Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a General Manager to lead and manage the drive-in’s operations and employees, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient service. You will train and support staff, drive guest satisfaction, and oversee daily functions to maintain high standards.

As the highest-level manager, you will handle staffing, budgeting, vendor relationships, and compliance with laws while pushing local marketing and performance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication skills, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, direct, coach, lead, schedule, assign, discipline, and terminate staff.
• Manage compensation levels per company guidelines.
• Supervise operations to provide an optimal guest experience.
• Oversee opening/closing duties and guest/employee issue resolution.
• Plan and forecast food, labor, and inventory to maximize cost control and quality.
• Lead regular team meetings and maintain records and reports.
• Develop and manage local marketing and business performance.
