Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Clarksville, TN seeks an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in operating the drive-in, training staff, and ensuring quality, safe, and efficient service. You will lead team members, supervise shifts, manage openings and closings, control inventory and costs, and uphold company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards across all areas of operation.
• Adheres to the employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties for the drive-in restaurant.
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Maintains administrative files, records and required documentation.
• Reinforces customer service focus and responds to guest requests promptly.
