Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running the drive-in, training team members, and upholding food quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

You will schedule shifts, monitor inventory and costs, perform opening/closing duties, and respond to guest requests with courtesy. Experience in restaurant management and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience
• Experience running shifts without supervision
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees as needed to ensure all aspects of food service meet operational standards
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control
• Completes weekly inventory and required documentation
• Reinforces customer service mentality and ensures staff focus on guests
