Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will help lead Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops while ensuring quality food, cleanliness, and safe practices for guests.

You will also participate in staff scheduling, inventory, cost control, and training initiatives to maintain high service standards. The role requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth and bonuses after

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure food service meets standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as required.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory.
