Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops, directing staff to meet service and safety standards while delivering a great guest experience.

The role requires flexible hours, a foundation in restaurant or retail management, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant management (QSR) or retail management preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory levels and food cost control.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists with administrative duties and documentation.
• Fosters customer service focus and responsive guest support.
