Job summary

SONIC Drive-In Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing drive-in operations, training staff, and ensuring quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner. You will lead team members, monitor inventory and costs, perform opening/closing duties, and uphold customer service standards to deliver a great guest experience.

You will work with a team to maintain high standards, ensure proper hygiene, and support daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication, math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to lead and train a team and operate autonomously when directions are given.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and support Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing, inventory, and food cost; complete weekly inventory.
• Handle administrative tasks and maintain records.
• Prioritize customer service and respond to guest requests promptly.
