Job summary

HDR is seeking a Drinking Water Market Sector BDD to lead strategy and growth across HDR geographies. The role drives top-line NFB growth and coordinates with Market Sector leadership, client managers, and practice groups to win work and expand HDR's water services.

Responsibilities include pursuing key opportunities, guiding pursuit strategies, and fostering staff development while representing HDR in industry and client settings.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant drinking water industry experience.
• Self-starter with initiative and drive.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of Drinking Water market strategies across HDR geographies.
• Act as Client Manager for key accounts and pursue major opportunities.
• Develop and implement cross-sector initiatives such as One Water and Value of Water.
• Collaborate with Regional Leaders, practice groups and Marketing to win work.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop market sector staff and ensure technical excellence.
