Job summary

HDR is seeking a senior Drinking Water Market Sector leader to drive business development across HDR geographies. The BDD will coordinate with Market Sector and Regional leadership to grow services, manage client relationships, and advance pursuit opportunities in drinking water projects.

The role requires deep experience in drinking water planning and engineering, strong leadership, and collaboration across HDR’s global teams.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years in drinking water planning, design and project management.
Maintain a professional engineering registration.
Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
Experience in client development and strategic positioning for planning/engineering services.

Responsibilities

Incorporate HDR and Water sector vision to become industry leader.
Serve as Client Manager for key Sector clients and be active in the industry.
Lead pursuit strategies, develop proposals, and prepare interviews.
Promote HDR services to Drinking Water clients across geographies.
Support international growth initiatives with Regional leadership.
Provide staff development, mentoring and technical excellence guidance.
Identify and secure key investments and partnerships to grow HDR’s market leadership.
