Job summary

HDR is seeking a seasoned leader for its Drinking Water Market Sector (BDD) to drive business development across national and international markets. The role focuses on advancing client relationships, strategic growth, and pursuit leadership, while delivering high-quality water engineering services.

You will lead key projects, mentor staff, and collaborate with regional teams to win complex drinking water assignments and expand HDR’s market share.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of relevant industry experience in drinking water planning and engineering design.
• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Professional engineering registration.
• Experience in development and management of strategic positioning and technical differentiation.
• Experience in client relationships and win strategies.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate client development efforts across multiple markets.
• Serve as Principal in Charge on key project deliveries and drive quality.
• Develop and implement pursuit strategies and win themes.
• Mentor staff and coordinate staffing for market sector projects.
