Job summary

HDR is seeking a Drinking Water Market Sector Director to lead development and implementation of business strategies across HDR geographies, coordinating with Market Sector and Regional leadership, client managers, and directors. This role drives top-line growth and access to new markets for HDR’s Water group.

The BDD will collaborate across market sectors and regions, manage key client relationships, and guide pursuit strategies to win high-value projects, with travel required to support

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant industry experience in drinking water planning and engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• Professional engineering registration.
• Strong ability to win contracts and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate HDR and Water business vision within the market sector to become the industry leader.
• Serve as the Client Manager for selected key clients within the Sector and be active and visible in the industry.
• Serve as Pursuit Leader on select drinking water opportunities, leading by example in development of pursuit strategies, proposal development and interview preparation.
• Work with client managers to promote marketing and delivery of HDR services to Drinking Water clients across all geographies.
