Job summary

HDR is seeking a Drinking Water Market Sector Development Director to lead growth across HDR geographies, coordinating with Market Sector leadership, client managers, and Business Class Directors. This senior role will drive top-line growth and oversee strategic initiatives, while collaborating across HDR regions and services to advance water sector opportunities.

With 15+ years in drinking water planning and engineering, you will manage key client relationships, lead pursuits, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years relevant industry experience in drinking water planning, engineering design, and project management.
• Professional engineering registration is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of Drinking Water MS strategies across HDR geographies.
• Serve as Client Manager for selected key clients within the Sector and be active in the industry.
• Lead pursue strategies, proposal development, and interview preparation for drinking water opportunities.
• Support client development, guide pursuit processes, and contribute to technical differentiation.
