Job summary

Baker Hughes in Texas is seeking an Account Representative (Downstream Chemicals) to own customers' needs and support safe, efficient refinery operations. You will manage day-to-day refinery treatment programs, build trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, and identify win-win opportunities while collecting data for reports and KPI reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma acceptable.
• 3+ years of refinery or industrial experience.
• Experience in refinery process operation and utilities units.
• Understanding of industrial chemical treatment programs and sales processes.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of refinery process treatment programs to ensure delivery and performance for our customers.
• Develop trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams to promote collaboration.
• Provide account management to understand customer needs, requirements and potential win-win sales opportunities.
• Collect and interpret data for troubleshooting, service reports, KPI reviews and presentations delivered to customers.
• Provide field support, laboratory analysis and technical guidance for our customers on issues, projects, turn-around, shut-downs and daily operations.
• Manage chemical inventories and deliveries at the customer location.
• Assist with loading and unloading for chemical tank trailers.
