Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks an Account Representative (Downstream Chemicals) to own customer accounts, implement and monitor chemical treatment programs, and act as a trusted advisor for refinery operations. You will analyze data, support field and laboratory activities, and coordinate deliveries while building strong cross-functional partnerships.

The role requires refinery/industrial experience, lab familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma acceptable.
• 3+ years of refinery or industrial experience.
• Experience with refinery process operation and utilities units.
• Understanding of industrial chemical treatment programs and sales processes.
• Laboratory experience and ability to troubleshoot.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operation and performance of refinery treatment programs.
• Building and maintaining trusted relationships with customers and partners.
• Providing account management to understand customer needs and opportunities.
• Gathering and interpreting data to support troubleshooting, reporting, and KPI reviews.
• Delivering field support, laboratory analysis, and technical expertise.
• Monitoring chemical inventory and coordinating product deliveries onsite.
• Supporting loading/unloading of chemical tank trailers and totes.
