Baker Hughes is seeking an Account Representative for Downstream Chemicals to own customer accounts, deliver chemical treatment programs, and act as a trusted advisor for refinery operations.

You will manage field support, data analysis, and KPI reviews while coordinating product deliveries and ensuring safety at customer sites. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred; high school diploma accepted.
• 3+ years' experience in refinery or industrial settings.
• Experience with refinery processes, water treatment, fuels additives, or engineering services.
• Solid understanding of refinery operations and utilities.
• Knowledge of industrial chemical treatment programs and sales processes.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Laboratory experience and ability to analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and performance of refinery process treatment programs; deliver exceptional service and value.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Provide account management to understand customer needs and opportunities.
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data to support troubleshooting, reporting, KPI reviews, and meetings.
• Provide field support, lab analysis, and technical expertise for projects, turnarounds, and routine activities.
• Monitor chemical inventory levels and coordinate deliveries at customer sites.
• Support safe loading/unloading of chemical tank trailers and totes as needed.
