Element Fleet Management is seeking a Consultant, DOT Program, to lead DOT/Hazmat compliance initiatives across North America. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, sales, operations and senior leaders to strengthen compliance processes and drive program growth.

You will own the creation of SOQs, advise on regulated fleet practices, analyze driver/vehicle data, and contribute to proposals and revenue initiatives. Strong regulatory acumen and communication are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in the truck industry; DOT/Transport Canada knowledge a plus.
• Ability to interpret data, support report development, and manage KPIs.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of product vision and business objectives.
• Effective communication, influence, and tact in complex requests.
• Strong negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills; able to act independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Mansioni

• Manage DOT compliance services, including client consultations and onboarding.
• Act as day-to-day liaison among clients, vendors and internal teams for program activities.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations and related processes to mitigate risk.
• Create/maintain Statements of Work with Element Legal for contracted services.
• Support business development with client discussions, data analysis, and proposal prep.
• Develop training for sales and acquisition teams on DOT offerings and regulatory changes.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, data accuracy, and reporting.
• Provide monthly revenue data for contracted DOT services and assist with billing.
