Job summary

Fugro is seeking an HSSE DOT Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations and maintain fleet safety standards across North America. You will support a centralized compliance program, verify records, and manage monthly reports for management review.

The role requires extensive DOT regulatory knowledge, strong auditing skills, and the ability to interface with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience with DOT regulatory requirements.
• 5+ years in DOT/FMCSA compliance, fleet safety, or transportation safety management preferred.
• Proven auditing experience with regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-division operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized DOT/FMCSA compliance across divisions.
• Develop, implement, and verify standardized DOT procedures and HOS program.
• Verify driver qualification files and oversee inspections, registrations, and PM tracking.
• Conduct compliance audits and lead investigations into regulatory breaches.
