Job summary

Element Fleet Management is seeking a Consultant, DOT Program, to lead regulatory compliance for regulated fleets across North America from Hopkins, MN with a hybrid work model. You will work at the intersection of regulatory expertise, client strategy, and operational execution to strengthen compliance processes and support revenue growth.

The role requires strong regulatory judgment, up-to-date DOT/TC knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5–7 years in the truck industry; knowledge of DOT/Transport Canada is a plus
• Strong regulatory and business judgment; able to interpret data and support reporting
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead DOT/Transport Canada compliance program initiatives across North America
• Serve as a liaison among clients, vendors, and internal teams for DOT-related activities
• Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations and related processes to mitigate risk
• Develop Statements of Work with Element Legal for contracted services
• Support business development through client discussions, data analysis, and proposals
