Job summary

Element Fleet Management is seeking a Consultant, DOT Program, to lead and advance DOT and Hazmat compliance across North America. You will partner with clients, vendors, sales, and operations to strengthen compliance processes and support program growth.

You will work at the intersection of regulatory expertise, client strategy, and operational execution with a focus on improving compliance services and revenue opportunities in a hybrid role based in Hopkins, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of experience in the truck industry; knowledge of DOT/Transport Canada is a plus.
• Ability to interpret data and support report development and KPIs.
• Strong negotiation, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication across clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Element's DOT/regulated fleets compliance services program and client consultations.
• Serve as liaison among clients, vendors, and internal teams for DOT program activities and escalations.
• Maintain knowledge of DOT regulations, Title department processes, and related procedures to mitigate risk.
• Create and maintain Statements of Work with Element Legal for contracted services; act as internal SME.
• Lead client discussions, assist with RFPs, and support DOT program pipeline and revenue growth.
• Develop training for commercial sales and Vehicle Acquisition teams on DOT programs and regulatory changes.
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, data accuracy, and reporting.
