Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Dispatcher to own the logistics schedule for an assigned territory, making cost- and time-efficient transportation decisions for deliveries, installations, and removals. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage contractors, and ensure 100% on-time performance while maintaining strong communication with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or 3 years of applicable experience.
• 2 years work experience required.
• 2 years experience managing one or more employees.
• MS Office/Excel/Word/Outlook experience.
• Experience working directly with customers by phone and email.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts business in compliance with Environmental Health & Safety Policies.
• Provides direct and indirect managerial oversight by assigning tasks and daily duties.
• Manage tasks for temporary workers and contractors as appropriate.
• Own DOT compliance within an assigned territory.
• Schedule and assign in-house or vendor drivers to ensure on-time delivery targets.
• Coordinate with customers to schedule daily/weekly/month activities.
• Define and maintain office procedures; act as local coordinator for branch activities.
