Job summary

WillScot is seeking a Dispatcher to own the transactional logistics schedule and office duties for the assigned territory. You will decide best transport options (in-house or vendor) to optimize cost, time, and delivery outcomes while leading a team and ensuring DOT compliance.

You’ll interact with customers by phone and email, manage daily tasks, and drive metrics for on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience managing one or more employees.
• Experience working with customers by phone and email.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Experience solving problems and building relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of the transactional logistics schedule for the assigned territory.
• Determine optimal transportation means (in-house or vendor) for cost and time efficiency.
• Ensure on-time delivery, customer satisfaction and office management.
• Provide supervisory oversight: tasks, daily assignments for Drivers, Field Techs, Setup Crews, Coordinators.
• Manage DOT compliance within the territory.
• Create dispatch plans, track deliveries, and coordinate with customers and vendors.
