North American Transportation Management Institute is seeking an Operations clerk in the Transportation department to handle regulatory compliance and clerical duties. The role focuses on driver paperwork, logs, manifests, and vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and about 2 years of distribution/transportation experience. Candidates should be proficient with Windows, Excel, and Word, and capable of maintaining Driver

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2 years distribution/transportation experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and paperwork handling.

Responsabilités

Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc.
Answer phones, route calls and take messages.
Research short on truck that driver’s call in.
Respond to delivery associate issues and provide support for a resolution.
Create Driver Qualification files and maintain DOT documents (license status, MED cards, MVR).
Monitor and review driver logs and violations via Telogis.
Run daily reports for transportation supervisors (observations, vehicle tracking).
Monitor Drive Cam events and process for coaching and signatures.
Backup for New Driver DOT Training.
Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervision or management.
