Job summary

You will manage daily routines, assist with programs, and coordinate with counselors and staff to address student needs. The role requires at least a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and experience with youth.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year working with youth or related experience and/or training
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate’s degree preferred
• Valid State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

• Ensure orderly, clean-living conditions by scheduling and supervising clean up and submitting repair requests
• Provide supervision for cafeteria, laundry, special activities, and other areas as scheduled or assigned
• Identify and assist students in handling special problems and conduct dormitory meetings
• Maintain communication with students’ counselors, instructors, and other staff
• Attend staff in-service training sessions and other training or meetings as directed
• Initiate and direct dormitory programs using Center services and activities to benefit students
• Transport students to various activities and events as needed
• Maintain an environment in which students and staff feel safe and secure
• Ensure that buildings are secure and clean at all times
