Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks a Program Coordinator, Stewardship to support the Data Philanthropy program. The role manages daily administrative tasks and special projects, coordinating stewardship efforts for gift clubs, memberships, and donor recognition.

The position may require some travel and weekend/evening work. It is a hybrid role with two days per week on the South Lake Union campus, and reports to the Associate Director, Stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• One year work experience.
• Experience supporting donor engagement or stewardship efforts.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly developed organizational and information management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively within a complex organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a CRM, Raiser’s Edge/RENXT, or related fundraising software.
• Ability to handle and respect confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Support donor stewardship, including impact reporting, endowments, engagement, recognition, and acknowledgement.
• Maintain donor data tracking, donor record coding/auditing, mailing list creation/oversight, and donor recognition/naming.
• Coordinate donor stewardship and recognition efforts, including gift programs, membership reports, and welcome/renewal messages.
• Provide general administrative support: emails/phone, meeting scheduling/minutes, budget reconciliation, electronic filing, conference room reservations.
• Coordinate across teams to support program activities.
• Respond to donor/internal inquiries with excellent customer service.
• Carry out data entry and data hygiene tasks.
• Follow gift processing/handling procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate to refine processes and improvements.
• Serve as an individual contributor without people or fundraising management responsibilities.
• Other duties as assigned.
