Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Program/Department Coordinator I to support the Genetics Laboratory Stewardship Service. The role handles administrative workflows, staffing, reporting and communications, with primary contact duties within the department.

It provides both administrative and strategic support to achieve program goals. The position is 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to contribute to a leading biomedical

Qualifications

• Required: High School Degree or equivalent.
• Required: Minimum one year experience.
• Require initiative, sound judgment and critical thinking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology may be required for certain roles.
• Strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Create, implement and adjust staffing schedules.
