Job summary

CSL Vifor Newark plasma center is seeking an attentive donor center assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the registration and screening process.

Under SOPs, you will perform basic health checks, answer questions, record data accurately, and may educate donors on therapeutic products and center policies. The role may involve cross-training to support operations and requires strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 months experience in clerical or customer service, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability during registration for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist with the screening process, health history review, medical questions, and basic measurements.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Educate donors on screening, tests, appointment systems, policies, and nutrition as trained.
• Cross-train in other areas to support center operations.
