Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Center Assistant to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through screening procedures at the plasma collection center. You will assist with health history review, basic medical questions, and health screenings under SOPs, ensuring donor safety and data integrity.

The role may involve registering applicants and transferring donors as needed, answering inquiries, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment in compliance with HSE/OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including health history, medical questions, and health screening procedures (BP, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger stick for hematocrit and total protein.
• Educate donors on use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma, explain screening and health tests, appointment system, center policies, nutrition and other relevant information, and answer donor questions.
