Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Screening Associate at our plasma collection center in Schenectady, NY. You will greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening procedures in compliance with SOPs.

You will perform health checks, answer questions, and maintain data in the donor information system. Responsibilities include registering applicants, answering calls, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and cross-training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ months clerical or customer service experience in medical setting.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and assist with screening procedures.
• Perform health screening tasks (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger sticks.
• Educate donors on screening process and center policies.
• Register applicants and transfer donors when needed.
• Answer phones or route calls to staff.
• Monitor donor safety and report any reactions.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor/center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
