Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center screener in New York to greet donors, confirm suitability, and guide them through screening procedures. You will verify health history, take basic measurements, and perform finger-stick sampling under SOP guidance.

After training, you may educate donors on therapeutic plasma products, center policies, and nutrition. You will handle registrations, answer calls, and maintain data accuracy while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and guide them through the screening process according to SOPs
• Explain the donation procedure, health screening tests, appointment system and policies
• Register and transfer donors as needed after training
• Answer phones and route inquiries to staff
• Monitor donors for reactions and notify staff promptly
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues
• Accurately record donor data in the electronic system
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure supplies are available
• Protect confidentiality of donor and center information
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs
• Bilingual skills may be required at organization discretion
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
