CSL’s plasma collection center in San Antonio is seeking a Donor Center Associate to greet donors and guide them through registration and screening for plasma pheresis. You will perform health screenings, answer questions, and ensure data is accurately recorded in the center’s system.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, safety, and adherence to SOPs. The position requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months of clerical or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting,

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsabilidades

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs, including health history and basic medical questions.
• Refer donors to medical staff when appropriate and perform health screening procedures (blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature).
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels from donors.
• Educate new donors on therapeutic products derived from donated plasma, including screening process, health tests, appointment system, and center policies.
• Register applicants and transfer donors as needed after appropriate training.
• Answer telephone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after the pheresis process and alert supervising staff as needed.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
• Cross-train in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization's discretion.
