Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center screener to greet donors, guide them through the screening process, and perform health checks. The role includes data entry in the donor information system and providing donor education on screening and center policies.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months of clerical or customer service experience, preferably in healthcare. Overtime and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Will perform basic math calculations
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature and finger stick for hematocrit and protein
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system
• Educate new donors on screening processes, health screening tests, appointment system and center policies
• Maintain confidentiality of donor information
• May cross-train in other areas and answer calls or transfer to staff as needed
