Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Donor Center Screener in Ocala, FL to greet donors, conduct screening, and support the plasmapheresis process. You will perform health checks and record donor information in the center’s system, ensuring accuracy and privacy.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least three months in a clerical or customer service role, with a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Some training may involve educating donors about plasma-derived products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months experience in a clerical or customer service related position.
• Basic math calculations required.
• Experience in a medical or health provider setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasma pheresis.
• Assist donors with screening, health history review and basic health checks.
• Perform finger stick to obtain hematocrit and total protein levels.
• Educate donors on products made from donated plasma and center policies.
• Register and transfer donors as needed and manage appointment system.
• Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system and maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
