Job summary

CSL Vifor in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Donor Center Screener to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the screening process. You will perform health history screening, basic health checks, and data entry in the donor management system in a fast-paced plasma center.

Responsibilities include assisting donors with screening activities, explaining processes, ensuring safety, and maintaining confidentiality. Overtime and a team-oriented environment are possible in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain alertness to any donor reactions during or after the pheresis process and notify staff.
• Answer telephone calls or transfer to appropriate staff.
• Educate new donors on the screening process, health tests, appointment system, and center policies as needed.
• Cross-train in other areas to meet center needs.
