Job summary

CSL in Rockford, IL is seeking an entry-level donor center screener to greet donors and guide them through the screening process. You will verify donor suitability, perform basic health checks, and document results in the center’s electronic system.

Responsibilities include assisting with registrations, answering questions, maintaining safety protocols, and staying compliant with SOPs and OSHA/HSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process following SOPs.
• Conduct health screening procedures: blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature; perform finger-stick hematocrit and total protein testing.
• Educate new donors on donor programs, screening steps, appointment system, and center policies.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
