Job summary

CSL Plasma Center in Temple, PA is seeking a frontline donor center associate to greet donors and guide them through registration to determine eligibility for plasma pheresis.

You will assist with screening procedures, perform basic health checks, and record donor information in the electronic system with accuracy. After training, you may educate donors about the use of plasma-derived products and center policies, while ensuring safety, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and conduct registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process in compliance with SOPs, including health history, basic medical questions, and health screening procedures.
• Educate donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma after appropriate training, including screening tests, appointment system, and center policies.
• Register applicants and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer telephone calls or transfer them to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Understand policies related to hyper immune programs at the center, if applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain donor, personnel, and center information confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization's discretion.
