Job summary

CSL plasma center is seeking a detail-oriented donor center aide to greet donors, guide through screening procedures, and verify suitability for the plasma pheresis process. After training, you may educate donors on the screening tests, appointment system, and center policies, while ensuring questions are answered accurately and professionally.

The role includes registering donors, assisting with transfers, answering calls, and maintaining data in the donor information system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors at the plasma collection center and guide them through registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.
• May educate new donors on the screening process, health tests performed, appointment system, center policies, and nutrition as needed after training.
• Register applicant and transfer donors based on training and center needs.
• Answer telephones and route calls to appropriate staff.
