Job summary

CSL is seeking a front-line donor services member at our plasma collection center in Missouri to greet donors, verify eligibility, and guide them through the registration and screening steps.

Under SOPs, you will assist with health history reviews, perform basic medical checks, finger-stick sampling, and help educate donors on the donation process once trained, while maintaining confidentiality and center safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service position.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify donor suitability for plasmapheresis.
• Assist donors with screening procedures per SOPs, including health history and basic questions.
• Perform health screenings (BP, pulse, weight, temperature) and finger-stick hematocrit/protein.
• Educate donors on plasma-derived products and center policies after training.
• Register and transfer donors as needed and assist callers.
• Monitor donors for reactions and alert staff; follow safety policies.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Maintain clean work area and ensure supplies; confidentiality maintained.
• May cross-train in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
