Job summary

CSL Plasma is hiring at a plasma collection center to welcome donors and guide them through eligibility and screening procedures. You will assist with health history assessment, basic medical questions, and health screenings as part of the donation process.

Role includes documenting donor data, answering inquiries, and maintaining confidentiality while ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs. Cross-training opportunities may arise and bilingual skills could be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and verify eligibility according to SOPs.
• Assist donors through screening including health history and basic medical questions.
• Perform health checks such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Explain the donation process and center policies to donors.
• Register and record donor data in the electronic management system.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor donors for any reactions during or after donation and notify staff.
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure supplies are stocked.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required at the organization's discretion.
