Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a dedicated team member to support pheresis procedures at our center. You will prepare autopheresis equipment, monitor donor safety during the process, and disconnect the donor once completed, ensuring data accuracy in our system.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 3 months in a medical setting, with basic math skills and a willingness to adhere to safety protocols. Some roles may require bilingual abilities and cross-training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains awareness of donor reactions during or after the pheresis process and notifies staff as needed.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, machine alerts, alarms, and donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
