Job summary

Texas Christian University is seeking a Gift Processing Specialist to join the University Advancement team. Responsibilities include receiving, recording, and receipting gifts, verifying information, and updating gift records in the accounting system.

The role also handles pledges, imaging support, and monthly reconciliations with the general ledger. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of relevant experience; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives, processes and receipts gifts via multiple methods.
• Verifies gift information and updates the gift accounting system.
• Records and maintains pledges and recurring gifts, with imaging support.
• Performs monthly reconciliation of gift records to the general ledger.
• Identifies and verifies employee matching gifts from companies.
• Supports other Advancement areas and backs up as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
